'Though Princess'

Miraculously I'm keeping up with the posts...

and even if I say it myself...I think I need an award for this...the keeping up...

Today we have 'Though Princess'...love the name and both the polishes I tried this time

Used the magnetic gray named '' and the Sun-changing gray glitters called ''. That's what brought me to the name exactly...
When I'm inside it's all gray...and it looks tough. The gray gives the impression of steel...metal and such. Especially with the magnetic effect...
But as soon as I go in the sun the glittery nails turn deep pink....just lovely. As though the princess behind all the heavy metal is peeking outside...

And to top the girly edge, I added some white flowery stamps on the sun-changing nails...
Et Voila...
I love these...really...

Can't wait to try out all the other ones.

Blue-mings

This time I decided to try two other unused colors in the stash.

The Steel-ing my Heart from Essie and the Teal Steel from Sally Hansen

I named the nail design "Blue-mings", especially because of the little pink and white flowers I added to the accent nail.

I personally feel as thou my nails are just a bit too shiny for my taste...lol.

But Nevertheless I'm in love with both basic colors. I think it's the combination that makes me think twice

The Teal Steel is a vibrant blue with a very beautiful green-ish shine. And the Steel-ing my heart is a high shining silver color...true silver...I like that!

I was going to try a more complicated design...but still I decided to go for something easy in the end, because I was reading a book and I wanted to hurry to go back to it.

This sunday I'm flying to Miami finally...I'm sooooo excited. I'll see if I can do another nail post before I leave, thou the schedule is very tight.
I'll also try to schedule in a couple of posts for the week I'll be absent.

WELL...lemme go attend other bussiness and I'll be back soon.

Grey had more than 50 shades...haha

Last friday I had a gig as the masters of ceremony at the installation night of the local youth brigade.
An official ceremony... in front of the prime minister and other important people (just so you might get an idea of what I'm talking about)

For this event I wore a black and white pencil dress and red stilleto shoes and I wanted the face to look a little classy as well. I ended up with grey semi-smokey eyes and red lipstick...
hmmmm...classy enough!

To my personal opinion I could have done much better. But for a quick make-up done in my car using no more than the mirror in the visor...it turned out quite OK.

Only, I think I looked more mature with this look...

Here, take a look...

I used three shades of gray on the eyes. A lighter shade on the complete eye as a base color, a medium shade on the eye bone and a darker shade on the outer corners to give it a night look.
Lips are in 'Hollywood Red' (Jordana), Blush in 'Nuance' (M.A.C.)

I plan on doing my nails tonight...so you can expect another post shortly. Besides, I have yesterdays' make-up look to show you as well...
So let's say...until soon , lovebugs.
