It's SUMMER TIMEEEEE!!!! Not that we really feel much difference on Curacao besides the school break and many people going on vacation hihi.

I know some of you have been anxiously waiting for the challenge of the coming month.
Pff...I even received multiple messages this morning from one of you lol...

If there’s ONE thing you gotta do...is CHILL OUT DUDE!!! Relaaaaaaxxxxx...

I know I’m not the only random mind around (while I can be pretty random). So why not make June a totally random month?
Some of the words/phrases may sound weird...but hey, it’s all part of it.

Misc: May Photo Challenge

Well, it's that time of the month again...
Yups..time for another photo challenge. (I mean, what else did you think?)@2

It's been said that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, still media and everything around us is (trying to) draw us a certain image of what is beautiful...isn't it so?
Which made me wonder, What if the beholder perceived beauty without the worldly criterion of beauty?

Well this month we decide to dedicate it to everything beautiful.
In the end, when we pay close attention there's beauty all around us. Even in places we fear to look and in the corners we oftentimes won't take a second look at.

So here's the thing. Starting May 1st show us everything beautiful that you have around AND within.
Remember, what you find beautiful doesn't necessarily need to be according to the generic/worldly standards of beauty. It's whatever YOU find beautiful!!!

The Rules are still the same as all the previous months:

1. Take a picture a day that you think fits the daily description
   (Remember, it doesn't need to be generic and people don't necessarily need to agree with you. It's how YOU see it!)
2. You can use any photo taking device you want
3. Share your pics with the rest of us.
   (If you're using Twitter, use the hashtag #BeautyDepartment)
4. Don't forget to have loads of fun while at it.

Free your creativity and let's enjoy another beautiful month together.

misc: April photo challenge

It's been more than a month since I last posted, I knooooowww. Shame on me (smh)
But you won't imagine how much has been going on around here...

We're almost at the end of 2013's 3rd month....which means....April's just around the corner!!! Pssshhh, time flies!!!
So here's the photo challenge for April...
I opted for a silly theme this month dedicated to April fools Day. Why not a whole month of jokes, memories, ideas and crazy fun? Yup...why not?

So here you go...

                     "Here cometh April again, and as I can see the world hath more fools in it than ever."

Misc: March Photo Challenge

February is almost ending and it's time to post the photo challenge for March. (YEAYYY)

I tell you, making monthly photo challenges is harder than I thought!!! WAAAYY HARDER!! But I'm keeping up...(Yeah babeh!!!!)

The theme for March is FRIENDSHIP.

No unknown teritory for any of us I suppose. :p We all have/had friendships (of some kind)!

Some would make new friends easily, while others don't. Some are overprotective friends and others give their friends as much space as needed to be themselves and express themselves freely.
And to each of us the word friendship brings up different mental pictures and different feelings.
In the end...that's what makes life (and friendship) so exciting...the different point of views!
And THAT'S what it's all about in March. Share with us your two cents on friendship. Take us on a Tour through your point of view on this topic. :)

Misc: February Photo Challenge

I am a woman with perfectly crazy friends. And among the things I love about them, I adore that pinch of craziness as well...

A couple of days ago one of them friends messaged me asking if the Resolute January Photo Challenge counts only for January...

"uhhhh...obviously...(raised eyebrow)...why?"

Well he wants to do a picture a day for the whole YEAR (yup, you read that right!). But as he says, the daily "guideline"helps him achieve this.
So we decided that he'll choose a theme for each month and I'll try and help him with the guidelines.

For the simple heck of it,
for if you feel crazy enough to go on another photochallenge or
if you missed the january one and wanted to embark in the true challenge of taking a photo a day...here's the February one.

The theme he chose was "THE WORLD". And after pondering for quite a while I came up with these pin points. How do you see the world? The World through your eyes...

So here it goes.
Take a picture a day of something that you think fits to the daily description. It doesn't need to be generic and people don't necessarily need to agree with you. It's how YOU see it!
Share your pics with the rest of us. If you're using Twitter, use the hashtag #TrueMyEyes .

I don't yet know if I'll do February... I might or I might not.
For as long as I can endure the challenge to make a monthly photochallenge...you'll receive one of these monthly hihihi. I might have to discuss some of the upcoming themes LOL

p.s. It's no mistake that February starts and ends with the same words. :P

Misc: January Photo Challenge...

In December there was this photo-A-day challenge by fashion guru Shirley B. Eniang (www.meek-n-mild.com ), which I wanted to participate in.
It looked mighty interesting. But then, when December started I totally forgot...and only remembered around Deember 3rd. BUMMER!!!
I didn't want to start late in the December Challenge, and decided with a fellow blogger (www.mybeautifulpieceofmind.com) to do a January Challenge instead.

And here it is...

Of Course we'd like you to participate too!!!!

The rules are simple; take a picture a day related to the topic of that day and post it (explaining shortly why you chose to photograph that). You can use just ANY photo-taking device to participate.
Of course it'll be more fun if you'd share the picture on your twitter as well using the included hashtag so we can all see each others journey...

I'm already excited to see yours, lovebugs!!! Tell your friends to participate as well...lets make this a fun and inspirational bunch of pictures this January...
Maybe in the end you can make a collage of how your 2013 started out.
